Jamie Stephen Hall (vocals and lead guitar), James Allix (drums), and Jimi Wheelwright make up the Brighton, United Kingdom-based rock trio Tigercub (bass). Tigercub has released two full-length albums, As Blue as Indigo (2016), and two EPs, the Hands EP (2016) and Repressed Semantics (2015), and Evolve or Die (2017). (2021).

Abstract Figures in the Dark, Tigercub’s debut studio album, was made released on November 11th, 2016 by Alcopop! Records. Alex Newport handled the album’s production, and John Greenham handled the mastering.

Positive press coverage noted the album’s challenging issues and material that transcended genres. It is a drug that isn’t readily ingested or digested; it is emotionally overwhelming and totally self-aware; it doesn’t fit neatly into a box on the shelf marked “punk” or “grunge,” according to Clash.
