Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California, formed in 1993. Lead vocalist Jacoby Shaddix, guitarist Jerry Horton, drummer Dave Buckner, bassist Will James, and trombonist Ben Luther made up the band’s original line-up.
James left after two EPs, and Tobin Esperance took his place. Before joining DreamWorks Records in 1999 and releasing the triple-platinum Infest in 2000, the gold album Lovehatetragedy in 2002, and the platinum album Getting Away with Murder in 2004, the band independently produced two more EPs. After The Paramour Sessions, Buckner departed in 2007, and Tony Palermo took his place. The following albums by Papa Roach include Who Do You Trust?, Crooked Teeth (2017), F.E.A.R. (2015), The Connection (2012), Time for Annihilation (2010), and Metamorphosis (2009). (2019). On April 8, 2022, they released Ego Trip, their eleventh studio album.
