Flo Rida (/floh RY-d/, Tramar Lacel Dillard, born September 16, 1979) is an American rapper and musician better known by his stage name. His 2007 breakthrough song “Low” spent ten weeks at the top of the charts in the US and at the time of its release broke the sales record for digital downloads.
2008’s Mail on Sunday, Flo Rida’s first studio album, peaked at number four in the US. The following year, R.O.O.TS was released in its place. His later albums, Only One Flo (Part 1) from 2010 and Wild Ones from 2012, both made the US Billboard 200 chart. Over 80 million records have been sold globally by Flo Rida, making him one of the most successful musicians. The international hit singles “Right Round,” “Club Can’t Handle Me,” “Good Feeling,” “Wild Ones,” “Whistle,” “I Cry,” “G.D.F.R.” and “My House” are among the songs in his discography.
In 2023, Flo Rida won $82.6 million from a jury in his lawsuit for breach of contract against Celsius, an energy drink manufacturer with whom he had an endorsement arrangement.
