Wande Coal was born on October 18, 1985, to Chief Ibukun Olufunto and Omolara Oluwayemisi Ojosipe in Lagos Island, Lagos State, Nigeria. The younger of two kids, Wande Coal began singing in his church’s youth choir. He began his career in Nigeria’s entertainment sector as a dancer. In 2006, he signed with Don Jazzy’s Mo’ Hits Records. He appeared on D’banj’s Rundown/Funk you up album on the singles “Loke,” “tonosibe,” and “why me” He is a member of the Mo’ Hits allstars and is signed to Mo’ Hits labels. He also had a significant role in the recently released CV (Curriculum Vitae) album. One of the best love songs ever penned by a Nigerian is “Ololufe,” his debut hit off the CV album. Afterwards, Coal launched his debut album Mushin To Mo’Hits, which was well-appreciated in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
After a protracted break, Wande Coal released Desired, his second album. He scored slightly over average in the majority of album reviews. Turkey Nla, a brand-new track from Coal, was just released in December 2017.
He began his 2020 with the single “Again,” which was created by Melvitto. He recently released the single “Come My Way” in 2021.
