Anthony Ebuka Victor, also known as Victony, is a Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter who was born on January 5, 2001. He is from Imo State’s Orsu local government. Davido, Wizkid, Mi, and Falz were some of the artists who inspired him as a child. He is a member of the Mainland BlockParty and Jungle Records record labels in Nigeria. In August 2020, he issued his first studio album, entitled Saturn. His debut in the music business came with the release of his first song, Ina Benz.
Ladipoe and Victony traded rap rhymes on his revival Sunday series, which is how Victony initially entered the scene. The reason he is still referred to as “The Outlaw King” is that he made his debut with a mixtape on SoundCloud called The Outlaw King.
Cover versions of international hits like “Bodak Yellow” by Cardi B, “Moonlight” by XXXTentacion, and “On the Low” by Burna Boy were released after the mixtape. Victony began his career as a rapper before making the switch to release R&B, trap, and Afropop music. The year 2021 began with the success of his song “Pray,” which was published following his vehicle accident. In October 2021, he collaborated with Mayorkun on the song “Holy Father,” which was his biggest break. The song peaked at number three on the Billboard Top Triller Worldwide charts in December 2021 and was the top song on Apple Music Nigeria. Afterward, he worked on the Nataraja EP with Grammy Award-winning producer Rexxie.
