Nicky Youre is the stage name of Nicholas Scott Ure, an American singer-songwriter born on June 4, 1999. His 2021 single “Sunroof” is what made him most famous.
Ure began composing music in 2017, and on June 4, 2020, he published his first single, “Sex and Lemonade.” The producer Laiki, who had previously released the EP Together/Separate with a number of collaborations with Ure, was featured on “Sex and Lemonade.”
Woohoo Media called his second song, “Sunroof,” which was published in December 2021, “an immediate ear-worm pop melody.” This song, which featured the Los Angeles-based producer and musician Dazy (formerly known as Snocker), peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and in Australia’s top thirty.
The singer, who is 21 years old, collaborated with fellow Californian David Hugo on the single “Never Go Wrong” in March 2022.
Ure released “Eyes on You” later in 2022.
