Jackie Miskanic, often known as Jax, is an American singer-songwriter from East Brunswick, New Jersey. She was born Jaclyn Cole Miskanic on May 5, 1996. On the fourteenth season of the American singing competition series American Idol, she came in third place. Her song “Victoria’s Secret” was her first to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Jax used the Beatles song “I Want To Hold Your Hand” for his American Idol audition in the fourteenth season. During Hollywood Week, she performed “Toxic” by Britney Spears during her first solo audition. Jax’s final solo performance included her singing “Let It Be” by the Beatles. Out of 80 contestants, she was the only one whose safety had been determined right away. Jax was named the most successful American Idol participant from New Jersey in April 2015. She performed at the Filmore in Detroit, Michigan in March 2015 while sporting #thedress. In the season finale of the show, she and Steven Tyler sang Janis Joplin’s “Piece of My Heart.” Jax came in third in the competition, and after the finals, her debut single, “Forcefield,” was made public. Jax and the other top five American Idol candidates kicked off the American Idols LIVE! in July 2015. Tour 2015.
