Hanne was born in Hamburg and reared there. She graduated from the HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration with degrees in business, fashion, and textile management.
She worked in Hong Kong as a strategic consultant for German online trailer Otto GmbH, doing supply chain management. In 2014, she left her corporate career to create her blog, Ohh Couture. She has worked with major labels such as Tommy Hilfiger, Dior, Cartier, BVLGARI, and Tory Burch alongside photographer Alexander Galievsky. She has modeled for Louis Vuitton, La Mer, Pandora, and Tommy Hilfiger, as well as Fendi, Swarovski, Givenchy, Chloé, Net-A-Porter, H&M, and Sarenza.
She has over 4.5 million Instagram followers and over 400,000 TikTok followers as a social media influencer. She is also an ambassador for amfAR, the AIDS Research Foundation. She works for Bold Management, a Milan-based influencer firm.
