Samuel Frederick Smith, a singer and songwriter from England, was born on May 19, 1992. He was born to parents Kate Cassidy and Frederick Smith in London, England. Smith played a leading role in the Youth Music Theatre U.K. at the 2007 staging of “Oh! Carol”. Throughout his adolescence, he played in a variety of jazz ensembles and studied songwriting and jazz vocal performance with pianist Joanna Eden.
